Kuwait: The Kuwait Sports Day 2024 is scheduled for 9 March 2024. The official launch of Kuwait’s Sports Day was announced on Sunday in a news conference conducted at the Public Sports Authority headquarters by Dawood Marafi, Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs, Youth Affairs, and Communication. Prime Minister His Highness Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah graced the event with his presence. Marafi stated that this community sporting event is the first of its kind in Kuwait and is open to all age groups and people. He invited everyone to participate in the athletic program, which promotes a healthy lifestyle.

The Kuwait Sports Day is planned by the ‘Kuwaiti Sport For All Federation’ governed by the ‘Public Authority for Sports’ and organized by Suffix Events. The venue for the event will be Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Causeway. The event highlights a 5 km Walking Race, a 15 Km Cycling Race, other sporting events, exhibitions, and group competitions. Bashar Abdullah, Deputy Director General for Competitive Sports Affairs at the Public Authority for Sports, elucidated the significance of this annual event and expressed gratitude to the sponsors and His Highness the Prime Minister for their assistance.
