Al-Ujairi Center Announces Shift in Season, Sunny Days Ahead for Kuwait
Kuwait City, Kuwait: The Al-Ujairi Scientific Center has announced the official start of the second canna season today, Sunday, May 12th, 2024. This period is marked by shortening shadows and a noticeable increase in daylight hours, exceeding 13 and a half.

The Center referred to this time as the “two conditions” phase, characterized by strengthening northerly winds and potential dust storms. They advised caution during midday hours due to the expected rise in temperatures.
The canna season lasts for thirteen days, followed by the Al Bateen period, signifying the official end of the rainy season and the ushering in of hotter temperatures, reported Al Jarida daily.
