Kuwait City, Kuwait: The Kuwait Meteorological Department is forecasting scattered rain and thunderstorms across Kuwait starting Wednesday afternoon and continuing until Thursday evening.

Director Abdulaziz Al-Qarawi stated that the rain will likely coincide with active northerly to northeasterly winds, causing dusty conditions and reduced visibility in some areas. Rising sea waves are also anticipated.
Al-Qarawi explained that these weather conditions are a result of a surface depression extension interacting with a humid air mass and a weak upper-level atmospheric depression. This combination is expected to produce low and medium clouds along with scattered cumulus clouds.

The weather is expected to stabilize by late Thursday evening as the depression weakens. Cloud cover and the chance of rain will gradually diminish. Overall, daytime temperatures will remain hot, with cooler temperatures at night, reported KUNA.
