New Work Visa and Transfer Fees coming in June

The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has implemented these changes in their automated systems. Here’s a breakdown of the new fees:
- First-time Work Permit: An additional 150 Kuwaiti dinars will be charged for issuing a new work permit.
- Employee Transfer (under 3 years): A 300 Kuwaiti dinar fee applies if an employee transfers to a different company within the first three years of their stay in Kuwait, but only if the current employer approves the transfer.
The PAM is prepared to enforce these new fees on June 1st. Additionally, inspection teams will be deployed across all governorates to ensure compliance.
Employers and workers are advised to be aware of these changes and plan accordingly, reported Arab Times.
