Dr. Khorshid is a specialist in endoscopic surgery. He graciously dedicated the fellowship to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and the Kuwaiti people. He acknowledged that this achievement reflects positively on Kuwait’s burgeoning reputation in the medical field, particularly within the subspecialties of endoscopy, surgical treatment of obesity, and tumor resection.

Founded in 1841, the ASS is a highly esteemed organization comprised of leading American surgeons. The honorary fellowship is a rarely bestowed distinction, having been awarded to only 99 doctors internationally across various surgical disciplines.

Dr. Khorshid’s accomplishments serve as a testament to the significant strides being made in Kuwaiti healthcare. Also, its increasing influence on the global medical landscape, reported KUNA.
