Kuwait Will Participate In First MENA Special Olympics Family Council In Cairo

Kuwait City: A major contribution from Kuwait is expected to be made to the inaugural Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regional council for prominent families of Special Olympics athletes. This event emphasizes the significance of family support in sports and social inclusion. Convening in Cairo, the council is expected to include participation from ten Arab nations. The commitment of Kuwait to improving the role of families in the overall development of Special Olympics athletes is exemplified by Sadeeqa Al-Ansari, who represents the country.

In her statement, Sadeeqa Al-Ansari thanked the regional Special Olympics, under the direction of Engineer Ayman Abdulwahab, for their commitment to forming regional councils, which are essential in improving athletes’ achievements in a variety of areas. To further emphasize the joint endeavor to foster inclusivity and excellence among Special Olympics athletes, the administrations of Tomooh Club and Kuwait Special Olympics were honored for their assistance. This project seeks to strengthen and connect the families and fans throughout the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) in addition to enhancing the athletes’ skills.
