Lieutenant General Sheikh Salem Al-Nawaf, representing Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior, led productive talks with a UAE security delegation. The primary aim of the discussions was to establish enhanced coordination in managing deportations and sharing crucial information electronically. This collaboration will streamline communication and make it more difficult for deportees to bypass immigration controls.

The discussions also addressed the established traffic link between the two countries, with plans in place to finalize any outstanding issues officially within the next month. Furthermore, Kuwait and the UAE expressed a desire to expand their security cooperation beyond traffic violation data exchange.

This expanded partnership will involve implementing measures for identifying and apprehending individuals utilizing counterfeit license plates within their respective territories. Both sides emphasized the importance of comprehensive security cooperation to ensure the safety and integrity of their borders.

This collaborative effort between Kuwait and the UAE demonstrates a commitment to regional security and highlights the benefits of strong partnerships in addressing shared security challenges.
