The General Administration of Civil Aviation (DGCA) issued a press release emphasizing the importance of obtaining visas directly from the relevant embassy in Kuwait. Abdullah Al-Rajhi, Acting Deputy Director-General for Aviation Safety, Air Transport, and Civil Aviation Security at the DGCA, highlighted the crucial role of accurate information in visa applications. He stressed that travel agencies assisting Kuwaiti citizens must provide verifiable details regarding travel tickets and accommodation reservations. The DGCA will take legal action against any agencies found to be non-compliant with these regulations.
This announcement comes on the heels of a recent advisory issued by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Ministry cautioned citizens against submitting applications with fabricated documents, such as fake travel reservations. Such practices can significantly hinder the application process and potentially lead to visa rejection.
