Kuwait City: Kuwait’s General Administration of Residency Affairs Investigations has launched a major campaign against unlicensed street-selling activities, detaining a number of street vendors of different nationalities for working at road junctions. According to Al-Seyassah daily, the crackdown indicates the government’s strong commitment to upholding the rule of law and public order, and it calls on the community to report any such actions.
