Kuwait Speeds Up Construction of New Passenger Terminal at International Airport

Kuwait City, Kuwait: Kuwaiti authorities are working to accelerate construction of the new passenger terminal, Terminal 2, at Kuwait International Airport. Dr. Noura Al-Mashaan, Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Municipal Affairs, met with Sheikh Hamoud Al-Mubarak Humoud Al-Sabah, President of Civil Aviation, on Saturday to discuss overcoming obstacles hindering the project’s progress.

Dr. Al-Mashaan emphasized the urgency of finding solutions to expedite construction. The meeting included representatives from the General Administration of Civil Aviation, the Ministry of Interior, and the General Fire Force. The meeting highlighted commitment from all parties to resolve outstanding issues quickly.

This meeting is part of a series of regular sessions aimed at ensuring the timely completion of Terminal 2. The new terminal is seen as crucial for developing Kuwait’s infrastructure and boosting the economy. Dr. Al-Mashaan stressed close collaboration with the Civil Aviation Authority to overcome challenges and maintain progress on this significant project, reported KUNA.
