Kuwait sets new traffic rule;70 dinars fine for using a phone while driving

Al-Khadda said in an interview with “Al-Akhbar Channel” that according to the new law, the fine for using a phone while driving will become 70 dinars, while the fine for recklessness and recklessness will rise to 150 dinars, if the violation is not referred to court.

Al-Khadda expressed hope that the law would be approved in the next cabinet meeting, indicating that according to statistics, the second largest cause of death in Kuwait is traffic accidents. He pointed out that all penalties have been amended in the new traffic law, and the minimum penalty for a violation will become 15 dinars.
