Kuwait Sets Date for First Session of New Parliament
Kuwait: Kuwait’s government has announced the official date for the first session of the newly elected National Assembly. The cabinet, led by Prime Minister Sheikh Dr. Mohammad Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, approved a bill during an extraordinary session on April 6th that convenes the Assembly for its inaugural meeting on Wednesday, April 17th, 2024.

This session marks the beginning of the 18th legislative term for Kuwait’s parliament. The endorsed bill will now be referred to His Highness the Amir, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, for final approval.
