Kuwait Launches “Together 4” Initiative to Bolster Worker Protections
Kuwait: Kuwait’s Public Authority for Manpower has launched a new national project, “Together 4,” aimed at strengthening protections for workers’ rights in the country. Developed alongside the Kuwaiti Society for Human Rights, the initiative will focus on three key areas:

- Education: Informing workers about their entitlements under Kuwaiti labor laws.
- Legal Support: Providing necessary legal assistance to workers.
- Societal Awareness: Encouraging broader community support for workers’ rights.
The project seeks to improve Kuwait’s standing in international human rights reports and combat human trafficking. It aligns with Kuwait’s ratified international agreements on labor rights and will involve research into labor abuses and solutions.
“Together 4” will promote collaboration between government bodies and NGOs. It includes educational programs on Kuwaiti labor laws, particularly for private sector and domestic workers. These programs will be offered in multiple languages for maximum reach.
A permanent committee will oversee the project’s activities, ensuring comprehensive protection for workers’ rights.
