The sheep will enter Kuwait through the Abdali port on the Iraqi border. This decision aims to ensure a steady supply of sacrificial animals at reasonable prices for the local market during Eid al-Adha.
The Authority has streamlined procedures to expedite the import process while maintaining strict veterinary quarantine protocols to guarantee food safety.
Furthermore, Saudi Arabia granted permission to use a transit route through their territory, facilitating the import of Jordanian sheep to Kuwait. This collaboration between the two countries aims to ensure the timely availability of animals for Eid al-Adha.
