Kuwait Grounds All Light Sport Aircraft and Gliders
Kuwait City, Kuwait: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in Kuwait has announced a ban on all light sport aviation activities, including gliding. This applies to both licensed and unlicensed operators.

The DGCA cited safety concerns as the reason for the ban. They emphasized that any previously issued exemptions or temporary permits are no longer valid.
Those interested in light sport aviation activities are advised to follow Kuwait’s Civil Aviation Safety Regulations and obtain the necessary licenses through the Aviation Safety Department website, reported Arab Times.
