Kuwait consumed 2.8000 tons of fish in the previous year
Kuwait City: As per the Central Administration of Statistics’ latest compilation of data, Kuwait consumed over 2.8 thousand tons of fish that was locally obtained in 2023, with an estimated total worth of 6.7 million dinars.

These figures included about twenty-five different species of fish. Shrimp was one of the main products among them, accounting for over one million kg sold in 2023.According to Al-Qabas daily, the amount of Zubaidi fish consumed during the same time period was approximately 79 thousand kg.
