Kuwait City, Kuwait: The Al-Ujairi Scientific Center has issued a warning, announcing the arrival of Kuwait’s hottest season. According to a press release, scorching temperatures will descend upon the region beginning June 7th, 2024.

  • Extreme Temperatures Expected: Temperatures across the region, including neighboring GCC countries, are anticipated to climb to extreme highs.
  • Strong Winds and Dust: The Al-Ujairi Scientific Center warns of strong northwesterly winds accompanying the rise of the Al-Bateen star. These winds are expected to cause a rise in temperatures throughout the day and contribute to dusty conditions.
  • Shorter Nights: Daylight hours will extend to over 13 hours and 47 minutes during this period, with sunsets occurring around 6:40 PM.
