Eid al-Fitr Holiday Officially Starts Tomorrow in Kuwait
Kuwait City, Kuwait: The Ministry of Social Affairs in Kuwait has officially confirmed the holiday schedule for the upcoming Eid al-Fitr celebrations. An administrative circular issued by the Acting Undersecretary, Abdulaziz Sari, outlines the operational adjustments for the Ministry during this festive period.

In accordance with the circular, ministry operations will be suspended starting tomorrow, Tuesday, April 9th, 2024. Regular operations will resume on Sunday, April 14th. This effectively designates the first three days of Eid al-Fitr as official holidays for employees.
The circular further acknowledges the unique needs of staff working in social care homes and security sectors. These personnel, often on shift schedules, will be granted designated rest days to ensure continued service provision throughout the holiday period. This balanced approach aims to facilitate a smooth transition for employees. Also, this approach is to ensure a respectful observance of Eid al-Fitr, reported Arab Times.
