Eid Al-Fitr Travel Boom Expected in Kuwait: 273,000 Passengers Anticipated

Kuwait City, Kuwait: Kuwait’s Directorate General for Civil Aviation (DGCA) anticipates a surge in travelers during the upcoming Eid al-Fitr holiday. The DGCA projects roughly 273,000 passengers departing from Kuwait International Airport on over 2,037 flights.

According to DGCA spokesperson Abdullah Al-Rajhi, popular destinations include Dubai, Cairo, Jeddah, Istanbul, and Doha. He assured the public that Kuwait International Airport is prepared to handle the increased passenger volume. And will facilitate a smooth travel experience.

In addition to the Eid rush, Al-Rajhi revealed plans for the upcoming summer season. Several new airline companies are expected to begin operating at Kuwait Airport, including carriers from India and Italy, offering travelers more options for their summer getaways, reported KUNA.
