Kuwait Wins “Most Educational” Award at Doha Horticultural Expo 2023
Kuwait: Kuwait’s pavilion at the Doha Horticultural Expo 2023 received the prestigious “Most Educational” award for its informative and engaging presentation on environmental issues.

The expo, which ran from October 2nd to March 29th, 2023, focused on advancements in agriculture, technology, and sustainability. Kuwait’s pavilion impressed judges with its educational programs, lectures, and events designed to raise environmental awareness.
“We are thrilled to receive this recognition,” said Engineer Samira Al-Kandari, Acting Director General of the Environment Public Authority and Acting Commissioner General of the Kuwait Pavilion. “The pavilion served a crucial role in promoting environmental consciousness through engaging activities.”
The Kuwaiti pavilion offered a variety of experiences, including interactive zones, a cylindrical museum, a replica of a Kuwaiti Oasis, and a dedicated children’s area. Visitors learned about modern agricultural techniques, sustainable practices, and solutions for combating desertification.
