The detainees, identified as being of various nationalities, will be processed for deportation within four days. Authorities are coordinating with embassies to facilitate travel documents and enforce a lifetime ban on re-entering Kuwait and a five-year ban on entering other Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

The Ministry emphasized its commitment to ongoing inspections and urged the public to cooperate by reporting violators and refraining from harboring them to avoid legal repercussions.

Key Details:

  • Over 450 residency violators arrested across Kuwait.
  • Highest number of arrests in Farwaniya Governorate (170).
  • Deportees banned from re-entering Kuwait and facing restrictions on entering other GCC countries.
  • Continued inspections planned to tighten control on residency violations.

This news suggests a stricter enforcement of residency regulations in Kuwait. Those residing in the country without proper documentation are advised to consult with the authorities, reported Arab Times.
