Schools Reveal Summer Break Schedule
Kuwait City, Kuwait: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Education (MoE) has released a comprehensive schedule outlining the conclusion of the 2023/2024 academic year for primary schools. This information is intended to inform students, parents, and educators of key upcoming dates and procedures.

Primary school students will participate in culminating assessments beginning this week and continuing into the next. Subject department heads have meticulously developed these examinations in collaboration with technical specialists to ensure a fair and accurate evaluation of student progress at each grade level. The exam schedule is designed to accommodate student progression. Also fifth-grade students concluding their examinations last.
School Year Closure and Teacher Responsibilities
The official end of the academic year for primary school students will be Thursday, May 9th, coinciding with the close of the workday. While students enjoy summer break, teachers will continue their duties until July 1st. In accordance with Resolution No. 1 governing working hours, vacations, and examination schedules.
Additional Important Dates
- May 19th – May 27th: Evaluation of excused absences (results available May 29th)
- May 30th: Distribution of student report cards
- June 23rd & 24th: Transfer of fifth-grade student files to middle schools
- June 30th: Deadline for primary school placement evaluation
