Road Closure in Kuwait City
Kuwait City, Kuwait: Attention drivers! In collaboration with the General Traffic Department, the General Authority for Roads and Land Transport has announced a temporary closure of a section of the Third Ring Road.

Here’s what you need to know:
- Closure duration: The road will be completely closed for 24 hours, starting at dawn this Friday, June 7th, 2024, and lasting until dawn on Saturday, June 8th.
- Partial opening: A partial reopening may occur after the initial 24-hour closure.
- Full opening: Expect full access to the road to be restored within 48 hours, by Sunday, June 9th.
- Reason for closure: The closure is necessary to complete maintenance work on the road’s surface asphalt layer.
- Affected area: The closure will impact the Third Ring Road between Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street and Al Istiklal Road near Daiya.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes during this period to avoid traffic congestion, reported Al Jarida daily.
