Kuwait City, Kuwait: The Kuwaiti Public Security Sector has announced the rollout of a new fingerprint attendance system for all employees. This initiative, mandated by Major General Hamad Al-Munaifi, Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs, aims to streamline attendance monitoring across police stations and directorates.

Enhanced Efficiency and Transparency:

The implementation of fingerprint scanners follows the installation of the devices in various facilities over recent months. This technology is expected to improve efficiency and transparency in attendance tracking for both civilian staff and officers working shifts.

Specific Requirements:

  • Civilian employees will be required to register their fingerprints upon arrival (between 7:30 am and 2:30 pm) and departure.
  • Shift workers will utilize the system according to their designated schedules.

Improved Management System:

The new system is expected to provide a more accurate and reliable method for recording employee attendance, potentially leading to better workforce management within the Public Security Sector, reported Arab Times.
