Kuwait City, Kuwait: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Electricity has announced rolling blackouts in an effort to maintain the stability of the national power grid.

To reduce strain during peak usage times (11 am to 5 pm), one to two-hour outages will be implemented in various areas. The Ministry urges citizens to conserve electricity during peak hours whenever possible.

The following areas n blocks will be affected:

• Qibla: 3 and 4.
• Khaldiya: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.
• Manqaf: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
• Raqqah: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.
• Rumaithiya: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9.
• Salwa: 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12
• Salmiya: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9.
• Shuwaikh: 2,3,4,5,7
• Abdullah Al Mubarak: 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
• Jabriya: A, B, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9
• Yarmouk: 1, 2, 3, and 4.
