Municipality Greenlights Modern Water Analysis Labs in Shuwaikh

Kuwait City, Kuwait: The Kuwait Municipality has approved a project by the Ministry of Electricity and Water to construct state-of-the-art laboratories for water analysis in the Shuwaikh area.

Saud Al-Dabbous, Director General of the Municipality, announced the approval after a technical review recommended expanding the existing laboratory building while maintaining its environmentally friendly design principles. The new facility will encompass a spacious 18,224 square meters.

Al-Dabbous emphasized that the project adheres to the guidelines established by various service ministries during a Public Facilities and Services Subcommittee meeting held on May 2nd, 2023. The Municipality also granted the administration the authority to adjust the building’s dimensions and layout within the designated area to avoid conflicts with existing infrastructure or comply with future regulations before construction begins.

This project signifies Kuwait’s commitment to ensuring safe drinking water for its citizens by implementing advanced water analysis techniques.
