MoH Unveils New Dialysis Center in Al-Ahmadi
Kuwait City, Kuwait: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Health (MoH) announced the inauguration of a new dialysis center in Al-Ahmadi. This marks a significant expansion of kidney care services in the region.

Strengthening Healthcare Infrastructure:
This new facility complements the existing Muhammad Al-Khuzam Dialysis Center at Al-Adan Hospital. It underscores the MoH’s commitment to enhancing healthcare infrastructure. The center boasts state-of-the-art equipment, including 10 advanced dialysis machines with the capacity to serve 60 patients at full capacity, with provisions for future expansion.
Comprehensive Patient Care:
Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi, Minister of Health, emphasized the government’s dedication to providing comprehensive healthcare for citizens. The MoH prioritizes accessible health services, advanced medical equipment. Also a team of specialized staff to deliver the highest quality care for kidney disease patients.
Expansion Plans:
The opening of this center represents the first of several planned facilities. Two additional centers are nearing completion: The Sabah Al-Ahmad Center catering to residents of Sabah Al-Ahmad and a dedicated dialysis unit at the Motherhood and Childhood Hospital at Al-Adan Hospital.

Dr. Bassam Al-Hilal, consultant in internal medicine and nephrology, and head of the Muhammad Al-Khuzam Dialysis Center, applauded the MoH’s efforts in equipping the center with cutting-edge technology. This advanced technology significantly enhances dialysis services and ensures the highest quality of care for patients. Dr. Al-Hilal expressed his gratitude for the leadership and support provided by Minister Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi and Undersecretary Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi in launching the center’s operations.
