1. Mandatory Fingerprint Attendance:
- All Ministry employees, including medical professionals and administrative staff, will now be required to clock in and out using a fingerprint attendance system.
- This system applies to both regular working hours and overtime shifts.
- A one-month enrollment window (from today until July 4th) is provided for employees to register their fingerprints.
- Certain exempted categories (not specified) will not be required to participate.
2. Investigation into Suspected Medicine Seizure:
- The Ministry has launched an official investigation committee to probe the alleged seizure of medicines from a primary healthcare center pharmacy.
- The head of the pharmacy has been placed on temporary leave pending the investigation’s outcome.
- These actions stem from urgent instructions issued by the Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadi.
