Ministry of Interior: Two Arrested for Currency Fraud

The Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of two Cameroonian nationals involved in fraudulent activities, following an operation by the Anti-Counterfeiting and Forgery Crimes Department under the General Department of Criminal Investigation.

A carefully planned ambush led to their arrest while in possession of incriminating evidence. Legal procedures are underway to refer the suspects to the appropriate authorities.

The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to pursuing anyone who threatens public security and urged citizens and residents to remain vigilant against fraudulent schemes aimed at illicit financial gain.
