A reliable security source confirmed that expatriates can return to Kuwait freely, regardless of their current fingerprinting status. The deadline of June 1st, previously established for program completion, provides ample time for residents to comply. While a lack of fingerprint registration may limit interactions with certain Ministry of Interior services, it will not impede entry into the country.

For expatriates who haven’t completed the fingerprinting process, registration will be required upon their return to Kuwait. Convenient locations for this one-time procedure include the airport, designated centers within all six Kuwaiti governorates, and even select shopping malls. The security source emphasized the program’s objective: to create a secure and efficient digital record system for resident identification and border control. This system will also serve to prevent the entry of individuals previously deported or barred from entering Kuwait, reported Arab Times.
