The committee will examine all academic degrees obtained outside Kuwait since 2000, held by both citizens and residents employed in the country. They will verify the certificates using approved standards and procedures.

The committee is chaired by Lamia Al-Mulhim, Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education. Other members include representatives from the Civil Service Bureau and the Public Authority for Manpower.

The committee has the authority to form subcommittees and seek additional assistance as needed. They are required to submit monthly progress reports and a final comprehensive report after six months.

This initiative highlights the government’s commitment to maintaining the integrity of academic qualifications in the workforce and ensuring foreign credentials meet Kuwaiti educational standards.
