Kuwait Sizzles as Jahra Records Scorching 52°C

Kuwait City, Kuwait: Kuwait is in the grip of an intense heatwave, with temperatures reaching dangerous levels. Meteorologist Fahd Al-Otaibi reported a scorching 52 degrees Celsius (125.6 degrees Fahrenheit) in Jahra yesterday, one of the highest temperatures ever recorded in the region.

Other parts of the country weren’t spared either, with Abdali registering 51°C, and Kuwait City, Wafra, and Jal Al-Layah all hitting 50°C.

These extreme temperatures pose a significant health risk. Authorities are urging residents to stay hydrated, avoid strenuous activity, and limit their time outdoors during the hottest part of the day.
