Kuwait Radio Now Features First-Ever Hindi Broadcast!
Kuwait: In a cultural milestone, Kuwait has launched the first-ever Hindi radio program, strengthening ties with India. The Indian Embassy in Kuwait announced the exciting news, highlighting its significance for the large Indian expat community.

This historic initiative will air every Sunday on Kuwait Radio, on FM 93.3 and AM 96.3, from 8:30 to 9:00 pm, starting April 21st, 2024.
The Indian Embassy expressed its appreciation to the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information for facilitating this program. Indian Ambassador Dr. Adarsh Swaika called the launch a “pivotal moment” that will strengthen cultural ties and bridge the information gap for the substantial Indian expatriate community in Kuwait. The program is expected to provide updates on current events in both India and Kuwait, along with entertainment content.
This initiative comes from a collaboration between the Indian Embassy and Kuwait’s Ministry of Information, led by Minister Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi. Kuwait’s large Indian expatriate community, estimated at one million people, represents the nation’s most prominent expatriate group. This new Hindi radio program underscores Kuwait’s commitment to fostering cultural understanding and caters to the informational and entertainment needs of its Indian residents.
