KUWAIT CITY, Kuwait: Kuwaiti authorities have extended the deadline for mandatory biometric fingerprinting registration for both citizens and residents. The Ministry of Interior (MOI) announced the extension today, aiming to streamline the process and ensure smooth completion.

Previously set for June 1st, 2024, the new deadlines are:
- Citizens: September 30, 2024
- Residents: December 30, 2024

Registration Details:
- Fingerprinting will be conducted at the General Department of Criminal Evidence within Personal Investigation Departments.
- Pre-booking appointments are mandatory via the “Meta” platform on the “Sahel” app. Walk-in appointments will not be accepted.
