On a brighter note, the meeting also yielded a positive development concerning the Philippines’ ban on sending domestic workers to Kuwait. First Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad Al-Sabah reported a successful meeting with his Philippines counterpart, resulting in an agreement to lift the ban. Additionally, a joint committee will be established to address any future issues related to domestic labor between the two countries.

The focus on combating drug addiction underscores Kuwait’s dedication to public health and safety. By promoting awareness, providing treatment options, and fostering collaboration, they aim to empower individuals and communities to overcome this challenge, reported KUNA.
