Kuwait Bans Motorbike Deliveries During Peak Hours

Kuwait City, Kuwait: Beat the heat and plan accordingly! The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior has announced a temporary ban on motorbike deliveries between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm. This regulation is in effect from June 23rd, 2024, and will continue until the end of August, 2024.

The primary reason behind this initiative is to prioritize the health and safety of delivery riders working during Kuwait’s scorching summer months. Temperatures can soar past 52 degrees Celsius (125 degrees Fahrenheit) during this period, posing significant health risks for those exposed to the extreme heat for extended durations.

While motorbike deliveries will be unavailable during the designated timeframe, residents can expect uninterrupted delivery services through alternative means employed by delivery companies. It’s recommended to check with your preferred delivery app for updates on their operations during the ban.
