Hessa Al-Mutawa, the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Education, issued a directive emphasizing the importance of protecting student privacy across all schools and kindergartens. This directive prohibits the sharing of clips, pictures, or any content related to students. Violations will result in legal repercussions according to existing laws.

This initiative aligns with Kuwait’s commitment to child protection under Law No. 21 of 2015. It builds upon a previous Ministry of Education directive that banned student interviews or statements. These measures aim to prevent potential exploitation and ensure student well-being, reported Arab Times.
