Smoother Security Checks: To ease the flow of passengers, authorities have implemented faster passport control procedures. During peak hours, all counters will be operational, processing passports in as little as seven seconds.

Debt Resolution at the Airport: For travelers with outstanding debts or fines that prevent travel, on-site payment centers are now available at the airport for the Ministry of Electricity and Water, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Communications, and General Traffic Department. Settling these debts will immediately lift the travel ban.

Security Measures Stepped Up: Airport security is working closely with airlines to prevent illegal entry attempts. Recent arrests involving forged passports and unauthorized passport use highlight their vigilance. Individuals caught attempting illegal entry will be promptly deported.

New Visa Option for GCC Residents: Residents of other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries holding a valid residency permit for at least six months can now obtain a visit visa upon arrival in Kuwait. This applies to doctors, CEOs, business owners, engineers, pilots, diplomats, and highly qualified professionals. Their spouses, children, and domestic workers are exempt from the residency requirement.

Biometric Screening in Place: To further enhance security, the airport has implemented biometric screening for arriving passengers. Nearly one million passengers have been screened since the program’s inception.
