Kuwait City, Kuwait: The Indian Embassy in Kuwait is urging all Indian nationals residing in the country without valid residency permits to complete the amnesty procedures by June 13th, 2024.

Here’s why:
- Kuwait has recently announced an amnesty program for expatriates residing illegally. This program allows them to either rectify their immigration status or leave the country without facing any fines.
- The amnesty program ends on June 17th, 2024. However, the Indian Embassy and Kuwaiti ministry offices will be closed for the upcoming Eid Al-Adha holidays starting from June 14th.
What this means for you:
- If you’re an Indian national in Kuwait without valid residency and intend to leave the country, you must apply for travel documents at any Indian Consular Application Centre before June 13th. This is the last working day before the amnesty deadline and embassy closure.
