Kuwait: The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) is actively looking to strengthen its member countries’ economies and open new markets worldwide, according to the bloc’s chief, Jassem Al-Budaiwi.

Al-Budaiwi made the statement on Friday while welcoming officials from Hong Kong, including Executive Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council Margaret Fong and Director-General of Trade and Industry Maggie Wong.
He emphasized the GCC’s commitment to working with Hong Kong to solidify economic, trade, and investment ties. This collaboration leverages the economic weight and influence of both parties.
The meetings focused on exploring ways to enhance GCC-Hong Kong trade relations, aiming to expand cooperation in trade, economic ventures, and investment opportunities.
