Kuwait City, Kuwait: The Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) is urging residents to avoid leaving mobile phones, power banks, and other flammable materials inside their vehicles during the scorching summer months. Al-Gharib assured residents that filling a gas tank completely is safe. Modern vehicles have built-in safety systems that prevent fire even with a full tank, and car engines are designed for hot climates.
The KFF recommends several precautions to ensure fire safety:
- Install smoke and gas detectors in homes.
- Perform regular vehicle maintenance.
- Keep a fire extinguisher readily available in cars, homes, and boats.
- Supervise children closely at beaches, farms, and rest houses to prevent drowning incidents.
- Wear life jackets and inform authorities before sea excursions.
KFF fire stations across the country are prepared to respond swiftly to fire emergencies. They prioritize public safety and encourage residents to take preventive measures.
