Khaled Al-Anazi, representing the residents, expressed frustration over the situation. He blames the crisis not on water availability but on the lack of readily refillable tankers and a proper water network within Al-Mutlaa. Residents are now solely dependent on the distant Jahra filling station, causing price hikes.

Al-Anazi highlighted the growing burden on residents, questioning why they must shoulder the cost of a basic necessity due to infrastructure issues. He further criticized the lack of oversight regarding the freshwater filling stations.

This crisis comes on the heels of previous electricity issues in Al-Mutlaa. Residents feel neglected and demand answers from the authorities. With the scorching summer heat, access to affordable water is a critical concern.
