Air India Express Cancellations Disrupt Passengers
Kuwait: Air India Express passengers traveling from Kuwait faced unexpected cancellations on Wednesday, causing significant inconvenience. Flights from Kozhikode and Kuwait to both Kozhikode and Kannur were grounded, leaving many travelers stranded.

The cancellations, received by some passengers only in the morning, disrupted travel plans for those who had already prepared for their trips. Some passengers who missed the notification even arrived at the airport only to find their flights cancelled.
Those on short leave schedules lost a valuable day due to the cancellations. Travelers with urgent needs to reach India were forced to seek alternative flights, often at higher costs and with connecting routes, leading to additional time wasted.
The cancellations impacted both morning and evening flights, causing disruption for those traveling for work or emergencies. Passengers flying from Kozhikode to Kuwait at 9 am and those returning from Kuwait at 12.40 pm were both affected. The evening flight from Kuwait to Kannur was also grounded.
For Kannur travelers, the disruption was particularly severe, as Air India Express only operates a service to Kannur on Wednesdays and Sundays. These cancellations force them to wait until Sunday for the next available flight.

Air India Express has offered passengers the option to reschedule their flights for any day within a week of the cancellation or receive a full refund.
