The Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy has announced the possibility of temporary power cuts in certain industrial and agricultural areas due to increased electrical load and ongoing maintenance work on power generation units. These measures are part of preparations to ensure full operational readiness during the summer and to maintain the overall stability of the country’s electrical grid.

According to the Ministry, the affected industrial areas may include: Abdullah Port, Subhan, Sulaibiya, Al-Rai, and Shuwaikh, while the agricultural areas that could be impacted are: Rawdatain, Wafra, and Abdali.

The Ministry assured that in the event of any power outage, the duration will not exceed three hours, and that electrical loads are being continuously monitored to minimize disruption.
