3.2Magnitude Earthquake Recorded in Manaqish, Kuwait

The Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) has confirmed the occurrence of a mild earthquake in the Manaqish area, located southwest of Kuwait. According to a statement released by the institute, the tremor measured 3.2 on the Richter scale and was recorded by the National Seismic Network.
The earthquake took place at 11:45 p.m. local time on Monday, April 7, 2025. It was reported to have occurred at a depth of 13 kilometers beneath the surface.
While the magnitude was relatively low, such events are closely monitored by KISR to assess seismic activity in the region. So far, there have been no reports of damage or casualties.
