Kuwait City, Kuwait: Al-Ujairi Scientific Center has announced that based on astronomical calculations, the first day of Eid Al-Fitr is expected to fall on Wednesday, April 10th.

The announcement indicates that the crescent moon signifying the beginning of Shawwal, the month following Ramadan, will be visible on the evening of April 8th at 9:22 pm Kuwait time. Visibility is expected to last for approximately 55 minutes on both the evening of April 8th and 9th.
Following this sighting and based on calculations, the holy month of Ramadan will conclude after 30 days. The Eid al-Fitr prayer is anticipated to take place at 5:43 am on Wednesday, April 10th, reported Kuwait Local.
